Episode 050: Colleen of @themqg

Before we dive in, a quick note about this episode…

We couldn't contain our excitement when it dawned on us that this is our FIFTIETH episode! So, in celebration, we decided to share it a little early so it could coincide with QuiltCon this year, two years after we first announced Quilt Buzz (our first episode would go out just a couple weeks later in March 2020). Over the last two years we've had such a blast producing the podcast, getting to talk to so many different people across the quiltiverse, as well as learning more about new-to-us techniques and facets of the industry. And we hope that our fun and fascination with our fellow quilters has translated over into the episodes and our social media shenanigans.

So, thank you, listeners, for joining us on this audio adventure. We hope you enjoy the episodes to come!

-Amanda, Anna, and Wendy

In this episode we: dig into all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into putting on QuiltCon as well as traveling exhibitions, consider the "quilt block" that structural support beams have been known to create, and assess our love of jazz hands (plus we allow Colleen and Amanda a moment to gush about their love of excel).
